The end of this school year really caught all of us by surprise! Especially those of us in the Education sector. We were literally left grappling. Figuring out how to continue and end the year was indeed a challenge. More importantly at BBA, we were still in the middle of the last quarter of the year when the entire country declared a semi-lockdown and an Enhanced Community Quarantine. We had a lot of plans coming up, from High school retreats and SHS Research Presentation to Graduation and Awarding Ceremony. Everybody was anxious!
Fortunately, those of us on the School of Tomorrow® system, are blessed with ready materials that can be brought home. The only thing that had me puzzled was how will students score? And how will they take their Pace Tests? I am just so blessed to have a team of teacher innovators, my SHS teachers and the rest of my Learning Center staff who walked with me in the designing of our Remote Learning Center (RLC). When our government declared ECQ effective March 16, 2020, we started our RLC that very same day. They were not all tech savvy, but they responded to the need for this type of learning center with God as their ultimate trainer! And because of God’s unfailing grace, we were able to finish our school year just a week past our supposed schedule!
