The Lord hath done great things, and it is marvelous in our eyes!
Yes, it was a success!!! The 29th National Student Convention (NSC), by the grace of our God, was successfully held last December 7-9, 2022, at the School of Tomorrow®, Philippines’ headquarters and Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow in Paranaque City.
NSC 2021 was held purely online because of the pandemic and mass gatherings were not allowed during that time. Students were not able to meet students from other schools, gain new friends, and experience performing in front of the judges.
We thank God for allowing us to have a HYBRID NSC, which had competitions that were primarily held ON-SITE and partially held ONLINE. More than 700 students from 46 different schools participated in the NSC and displayed the gifts that God had given them for His glory! Everyone was thrilled and excited at every rally and awarding as the emcees yelled the word “ON-DECK!”, which denotes that you are one of the top six winners if your school name is listed as being “on-deck.” The challenges acquired from God’s Word served as a testament to God’s grace in the speakers’ lives. During the invitation, decisions are made, Pastors/staff prayed for the students, and some accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
We are exceedingly grateful to God for demonstrating His omnipotence during the convention. To our beloved judges who gave their precious time in judging the performances of the delegates and saw the gifts that God had given them–God bless your hearts. Thank you to the participating schools, the coaches whose pupils performed well because of their training, and the parents who permitted their children to attend the convention.
We also like to thank Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow, in particular Mrs. Harriet Barrera, for the use their learning centers as the primary location for our 29th NSC events.
And thank you to the School of Tomorrow®, Philippines employees and our NSC Team, led by Mr. Timothy Jonsel Ermitano, for a job well done!
