2021 started well for BLESS amidst the pandemic that we are facing. From BLESS Presentations in Aurora province to our very first eTraining in Negros Oriental, opening of BLESS Centers and graduation in Mindoro we have been truly blessed to see God’s work continue to grow.
We have active centers in Luzon that are thriving with online schooling and looking at graduation later this year. One extra BLESSing in 2020 is the continuation of our BLESS kids to PCST-HEP.
While there are also a growing number of centers that will be using the BLESS program for the first time.
These centers have been given permission by their respective Barangays to teach and minister to the kids. Safety measures and protocols are needed to be observed in some areas while there are still areas who are really BLESSed due to their low or zero rate of COVID cases. They go on with their life as usual with no sign of covid threat. They continue to minister to kids without the hassle of wearing face masks and shields.
Here in Metro Manila, some of our centers have ceased operations due to strict quarantine guidelines. We continue to pray and hope that in God’s perfect timing, they will be able to resume their respective classes.
There is still so much to be grateful for in such a time as this. God is faithful and His Sovereignty encourages us.
May we ask you to be in prayer with us as we continue to reach out to far flung areas with the help of our BLESS Ambassadors whom God has used mightily for the expansion of His work. By God’s inexhaustible grace, we are able to meet the needs and move lives of each child we minister to.
That has been the aim of BLESS from the beginning, help us spread HOPE through Literacy!
