REJOICING IN THE VISION

Isa 54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

As the year 2020 comes to a close we consider all the Lord has done for us during the trying times as the world has been confined with fear. What a time of testing! What a time of being forced to focus our faith! God has been faithful in this time and He will continue to be faithful as we know His love for us is unfailing.

In the Scripture passage which has been our theme for the year we see the good promise of God as our stability while the world reals in constant fear. Friends and family have been affected by the virus, but God is victorious, even if some have had to remain here on this earth while others were promoted to be in his presence.  God’s promise is sure, He is our confidence and assurance in any time of adversity. This is revealed because even in His wrath, it is but for a moment.

The trial of faith in these times is more precious than gold that perishes. While men seek for assurance of wealth and prosperity to carry them through trying times, the believer has a greater confidence because the creator and owner of all the wealth is our God and He is our friend.  The hiding of His face is but for a moment.

God’s love and mercy are founded on the fact that He is a God of everlasting kindness! We all are drawn to kindness and are repulsed by the unkind and unloving. And even though God’s ways seem to be conflicting with our plans and visions, His way is the way of blessing! His kindness is everlasting. His mercy endures forever.

It is our prayer at School of Tomorrow®, Philippines that you will find God’s richest blessings are yours though the circumstances of life may be uncertain.  May you find the love of God in allowing our ministries to continue even when others are still in jeopardy. It has been an amazing answer to prayer of parents and school administrators that we have been able to continue to provide a Bible based education to the next generation of leaders. While others struggle and fail, God has allowed us to touch lives.

Thank you for the part you played in making the Remote Delivery educational process work! God has allowed us to impact not only students and parents, but also other educational authorities. The cords have been lengthened; the stakes strengthened and the tents enlarged.

May you have an even more blessed New Year. God’s MERCY is beyond our comprehension.

In His Grace,

Delbert Hooge
